First league game of the season, Sunday, 3pm, Don Valley Stadium.

Carnival day beforehand, get down early and take part, rodeo bulls, bouncy castle and sumo suits to name but a few things happening.

I expect us to win and win well. We should be confident having won 4 from 4 in the Northern Rails, and I expect Swinton to finish bottom two this season.

I honestly wouldn't want to be a Swinton player on Sunday.

Important to keep up a good defence only one carless slip against York think we will nil these. Must concentrate on that because the season really starts in about three weeks when top sides are set to test us. 44:0

I'd be happy just to get the 3 points without worrying about nilling teams, Swinton have some decent players in their team and should not be taken lightly.

Agree with Brummie.

We've had some "easier" opposition in the NRC and the league will be much tougher. Saying that I think that this squad is better that last season's and has the ability to beat anyone in the division.

I think we will win this one but i'd like to see a good game and I think Swinton won't be as big a walkover as some may think. Got some good wingers in Armstrong and Penny..
