That's it we have "made it" - Heddo is on Radio Leeds commenting on todays games - he was introduced as former Cas player but then the Leeds commentator did mention that the Eagles are the pool Leaders once or twice while introducing other teams who have also qualified.
York didn't of course ....... wonder who put them out ..... three wins but failed to qualified because of bonus points!!!!!

Hendo has commentated on games for a few years now, to be fair to James Deighton on Radio Leeds he gives the club good coverage-had Mark Aston as a guest last season a couple of times to talk about the Championship.

As Leigh's points difference is massive (91, same as Eagles) then they would have qualified anyway so in this case the bonus point was irrelevant. I know it isn't to everyone's liking but I personally think that it is fine.

There is another oval ball game which has bonus points system which is much more complicated:

4 points for a win.
2 points for a draw.
1 "bonus" point for scoring 4 tries (or more).
1 "bonus" point for losing by 7 points (or fewer).

You need a calculator to work it all out.
