Just seen this news. Thackeray's a bit of a gamble, but if he can recapture his old form, well worth it. Nice to see the squad beginning to fill out a bit.

Good luck with Thackeray,you will need it.........keep him out of the bookies and pubs and get his old form back...he may go alright for you....you have now got 2 ex FC players who were both booted out for being part of the drinking culture at Hull.
I think if anyone is going to get the best from Thackray it might be Noble. It might be a gamble signing him but as mentioned, if he can recapture a bit of his old form and get the mentality right he'll be an asset.

Not so sure Noble got the best out of many Wigan players during his time with the Pies.
