The way Agar is using Radford (a LF playing as third prop ) to keep the game tight and narrow for whatever reason is plainly a ploy of a man/coach devoid of any ideas other than percentage rugby.
As you say why not rest Dowe/Cusack and play Radford in the front row to allow Washy/Whiting to go L/F and interchange with the 2 SRs, Play Maloney/Thackray/King as the other props, to give them game time, drop the dumpling to 21s.
Thackray runs SR lines as good as anybody we have, and as Hally said lets throw the ball about through the L/f, we wont and haven't won games playing down the middle this season.
