Unlucky on Roberts if he has broken his leg. Probably been player of the season across the league so far. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Terrible news for the lad if true. Has been playing his best rugby for some time for you. I think tour team can continue in the same form without him though. Get well soon Amos.

Eddie has just mentioned it on Sky. You can almost here the delight in his voice.

He's been the best player in SL so far, what a shame.

I for one hope he's back as soon as possible. Terrible blow for you lot.

Wishing Amos a speedy recovery and hopefully his injury is not as bad as first reported.

He has been sensational for you guys this year and a pleasure to watch in neutral games !!

I'm gutted for him.

No idea what happened, as we were at the far end from it, but if it is a break we have to hope that Phelps and Richards both stay fit for the next couple of months at least.

I would be looking to recall Ainscough on the wing at the first sign of any knock to Phelps/Richards/Carmont/Goulding as we need top-class cover should anything else happen.

Little harsh on Cas, but they knew the terms and would have to live with it. Ainy is a proven try-scorer.

I'm hoping (like everyone else on here) that it isn't as bad as is being reported, but expecting the worst TBH.

Just heard from my source (a player inside the club) that Amos has a suspected DOUBLE leg fracture of the tibia and fibula in the left leg.

Out for season is most likely in that case: 12-16 weeks immobilisation in a cast followed by a rehabilitation period.
