Corporate Hospitality & Bars : Sun Feb 13, 2022 7:27 pm
Haven't seen much promoting this. Given it was a key factor in Loubser/Hughes running away from another ruined relationship with a landlord, has anyone been or seen evidence of a good uptake in these premium tickets at the Whitehaven game?
In terms of the bars/food, does there appear to be enough foot traffic to make any money off sales there either?
Crowd down 700 (33%) inside 14 days......can't see the hosts being chuffed with that

Good question. You can get a good feel of the corporate uptake by seeing how many are seated during a match. Unfortunately since only the main stand is open it's hard to see who is sitting above.

I wandered into the pub at half time and was surprised how quiet it was. I didn't look before or after which are better ways to judge.

I didn't look closely, but the concourse for food and beer didn't appear as busy as the AFC Wimbledon Ladies matches. Both allow beer at seats. May be influenced by how and when people buy. So don't pay too much attention to my feel, if I'd taken a look for that reason I could have given a more reasoned view.

Didn't hear any mention of the pub. It's downstairs and not obvious to anybody in the West Stand (the only stand opened today). Although lacking in seating, it's a good socialising area, a way to enhance the experience and increase income. It would be interesting to see if it's well used post game; I left straight away so can't comment. The last Ladies match (they are part timers as well) many of the team joined the fans in the pub post game.

Trying to find out the score today from twitter i put in the words London Broncos and there was a tweet from someone in London who had watched Channel 4's excellent coverage yesterday of the Leeds game and said he wanted to go and watch a live game in London only to find that the Broncos play in a ground just down the road from him.
This is the time London needs to be active on social media, local news to get the word out there.

Funny that I noticed that AFC Wimbledon are after a marketing manager, he could not be going there could he? Funny i was talking to an AFC Wimbledon fan at work the other day who got chatting to him the other night and i am sure it was a night when AFC Wimbledon were playing.
