LMR through to Grand Final U18s : Sun Apr 12, 2009 1:10 am  

Well done to lMR on the emphatic win against Celtic in the the playoff to be 1st qualifiers to he final. Miners won 52 V 10 ish and were always the better team. The lads were missing 2 key players but still played superb. It will take a great performance from any team to prevent them from remaining unbeaten this season..
I think they will win both finals...... I have watched them all season and in the grand final their defence will lead them to a 20 plus victory..................
against Leigh East ??? if the real LMR turn up Dick Jones's lot will be lucky to be within 30 ????? Anyone agree ????
Many of the east u18s player's were at todays game and I heard them kidding themselves saying LMR were just cocky and it would be a different game against East ???? All I can say is dry conditions and big pitch will leave east floundering.
Well done to both LMR and east for making the final...... Centurions get ur booty in gear and stop this talent going unoticed, !!!

Or are the trying to lull you into a false sense of security, I think they ll play different in the final and dont forget they, re the RFL s darlings so expect a lot of decisions going their way in the final.


Also they ve every right to be cocky by going unbeaten all year. East wont roll over and die though, thats for sure, I expect a good game and Ill be there to see it.

why is it we've gone all year unbeaten been convincing in more or less every game and yet we still dont get any credit?

well its right weve got nowhere near the credit that we deserve, oh well we've won nothing yet n will have to do it in the big games hopefully we'll win both finals and finally people will actually give us some recognition.

Also just beware the RFLS darlings are Celtic remember Leigh have no youth development according to Dicky Lewis, and They will be wanting Celtic to win thats all I was hinting at.
Oh and I want you to beat them in the final ,if they make it.

To be honest they should have been thrown out of the comp, for refusung to travel to you and instead they are allowed to play it when they felt like it. What would have happened if us or you guys had refused to go to Celtic.

And before people defend them by saying how far they have to travel, they knew that when they entered that league.

east have been all over the country this season, Cumbria < Celtic , Gateshead, London, Featherstone, hull. So its the same for everyone. I really hope Miners beat them should they make the final.

i totally agree with you, east would have beaten them at east cos celtic are nowhere near as good as people make out, its wrong how they've got treated oh well.
