Is a disgrace....(some are are anyway). We didn't lose today due to lack of effort or fight hence the comeback, yet some people still see fit to call the players a disgrace and boo at fulltime.
I must say the booing is a bit daft......Surely, its now obvious that Wire are pretty hopeless, so booing at the end of another routine defeat is pointless?
Fair enough, if these defeats were a shock, but the truth is we are no better than Salford, so to boo a close defeat is a touch baffling.
I'm still a little unsure how we lost. Our completion was quite high considering the weather, I was hoping Monaghan would step up and dictate play/up the tempo to push us away, but we kept playing it tight. Maybe we were playing to a tight set of instructions, who knows?
Loads of oxygen thieves knocking about today, booing them off at HT, cheering them back on etc.
I didn't think we were good today, but we didn't lose through lack of effort, so there's no dramas there. Folk were using words like 'spinelss', no 80-12 at home to Bradford was spineless, maybe Catalans at home this year even, not today.

Smiths GMR comments were spot on.
Whats he say? I was waiting and waiting to hear, Potato Head has his bit so I switched off.

Defensively, our structures were the best since he's been at the club, a couple of switch offs excluded etc. He was mega pleased with the defence, kept going back to it, giving it a rap like.
Offensively, we needed to do a little more with the footy, react to the conditions better, be a little smarter etc.
He thought that the game gives us a foundation to build on, to win matches, you have to be able to defend, we did that for large periods etc. He was pretty upbeat like. Talked about conditions being a leveller etc.

No, strangely it wasn't. He looked for the positives first - defensively we were better than when he first came here, held their shape better etc THAN WHEN HE FIRST CAME HERE (i.e. showing some improvement)
But, need to be smarter offensively, made some poor decisions, took too long to meet the conditions...
It didn't come across as being same old, same old. No excuses, just said it as he saw it: wasn't fantastic but signs of improvement were there. It actually came across as a reflection of the game. Not going to blame anyone, going to regroup and pull together for Moday.
