As it happens I live fairly close to Ebbsfleet and have seen nothing in the way of promotion locally for this game or the one the week after.

That’s a real shame- you’d have thought that a few posters could have been put up at the station, and at Northfleet Station ( closest to the ground).It wouldn’t have taken a lot of doing to ask local shops to put up one in their window eh?
Or do a bit of promotional stuff in and around the Gravesend area?

Strange they've done so little. It's not as though you need a stroke of genius to figure "put up posters", assuming we have some. Do hope Gazza hasn't inherited Hughes' lack of ideas along with his shares. 

The thing is publicity requires either manpower or money or both and we have neither. We barely have the bodies to go round local shops with flyers.

Shame Hughes alienated the fanbase so much the great efforts of the Snares & Warrens are but a distant memory. 

While on the subject of Halifax, they are an example of how not to do it. It appears that when the club wanted to rejuvenate itself prior to summer  rugby, despite the fans preferring Halifax Bombers (one of my favourite airfix kits back in the day), the CEO decided his idea was better & the Blue Sox were formed. Then they went back to Halifax & now Panthers. 


Like most, i've always known them as "Fax" so before Gazza gets carried away, he needs to think on. 

Blue Sox was the low point of the whole let’s rename teams phase. Panthers is fine, if bizarre. Lets them have a decent logo and mascot and more traditional fans can simply ignore. Has it raised profile etc? Who knows.

I wondered about Hellec too. Otherwise a strong squad.

This is one of many things that Gary Hetherington needs to address as soon as possible and I'm confident he will.Match day awareness. Get the message out on socila media. 1. The date and day they are home. 2. Who they are against. 3. Kick off time. 4. Admission prices.

Aaah the online TV commentary is terrible.
