I agree it is horses for courses. But the basic fact is Myler would (even with Wigan's dire halfbacks) have scored, i would wager, more than double the tries Lulu would have scored. Would have had a much greater impact on the direction of the games and is, fundamentally, a better 7 than Lulu.
I honestly think these pie trolls are getting worse. Lulu suits Wigan's hooking needs well. But you can not use this 'players work well in their respective teams' line on this debate. Monas/ Roby.. yes. They have polar opposite roles. Myler is better than Lulu in every measurable way, at 7. Myler has clearly shown this year he can lead any team (even without Briers) and can score from anywhere. For god's sake, I never saw Lulu cut out a pass as good as the one to Wood, that sealed the game against an almost fully fit Sts team, a few weeks ago.

So you believe that if Leuluai was English, Myler would be picked at 7 for England before him?
