Neither glass half full or empty. Just a realist.

Re: today : Sun Jun 12, 2011 7:27 pm
come off it...we stank the place out today.
It doesn't matter how many we had playing on Friday
We were gash

Briers MoM? Don't make me laugh.
Only Carvell can come out with any credit (and he played Friday)

Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

600 is wildly optimistic.

As for the game, bit churlish to blame today's defeat on anything other than the two main factors - Salford's performance and ours. They played very well, we didn't. They won. That's sport.

Carvel did very well considering he should have been worn out after friday!!!!!! have not seen the city reds tackle and get in the oppositions faces as good as we did today all season, simple tactics won us the game, have never watched a clock as much as i did for 25 mins today mind you!

You come across as very young & crisps on your shoulder. In time they will become chips. There were 250 from Salford in the `players` stand never mind the terraces.

Be gracious in defeat for once - Salford overcame a penalty count of 23-2 from Mr Thaler plus had a Ratchford try disallowed which would have been given on TV. Salfords pack won the game and if Fridays game is your ultimate excuse then why not utilise your squad and play the lads on the sidelines.

The bottom line is Mr Smith misread the signals and picked the wrong team entirely.

Salford kept hold of the ball and completed Sets..we didnt simple as that

its a worry that we look absolute dog poop in wet weather... whats the weather like in October November.....? its a worry if we have designs on Old Trafford.

good point made earlier on I thought Thalers policing off the Off side Rule didnt exist today but we had more than enough chance to dominate with the number of Penalties we recieved.....

and another thing I hate absolutely hate the fact we only show some urgnecy with 9 minutes on the clock.........

oh and my player to hate today is Rhys Williams... a carthorse that looks as enthusiastic as as a scouser being offered a job (stereotype chucked in for good measure). we did a kick chase for him and he may as well have just stopped shrugged his shoulders and said sod that
