I'll re-phrase then for 'one sport wonders' - we need 1 absolute quality prop and not 3 mediocre ones.

I would say we need 2 quality starting props, Hill and coops are bench level now, especially with hill going on tour.

Disagree, if we had better standard support props we wouldn't have had to flog Hill and Cooper to the extent we did. Tasi/Akouala/J Clark were not up to the job. Still can't fathom how Sita got an extension.
What position did Clark play at Souths?

i wouldn't, of the french forwards that catalan have let go, they're all a bit pap, antoni maria, navarette. Gadwin Springer didn't kick on at cas, i've no idea how he's getting on at toronto.

Catalans don't have a great pedigree of bringing academy'juniors though(yeah i know we can't point fingers) but some times you'll see some potential monsters for them that have 2 or 3 games then disapear, Jordan Dezarria for one, Thibaut Margalet was looked like he was packed with potential, i think he got fed up of the catalans management mucking him about.

It's a bit worrying that we are yet to bring anyone in or even be seemingly linked with anyone with pre season starting next month. You'd think the club would have lined someone up when the season finished.

The season has only just finished. All the players that aren't involved in internationals will be on holiday. There will no doubt be movement once clubs start pre-season. There are rumours Saints have signed a 'big Tongan prop'. As long as that's not to replace Thompson we could well be in a position where you spend the whole of next season moaning about forwards like you spent this year moaning about Patton.
