I’d imagine it was booked last year when they were feeling flush, they clearly have cash flow issues, but no point not going on something that had already been paid for, doubt they would get any money back.

Sod Lewis, we should throw some money at Nene McDonald, and i like Tai but nene would be a big upgrade on him, swap deal i'd be happy with that.
Can't actually see that happening though.
The portugal trip sounds like a "it was fun boys, really sorry but lets have some fun sunny training before you leave"
Feel sorry for the players as it must be nervy time not knowing if were you stand for your career

I like Nene McDonald but I am hoping and praying that Lindop displaces Tai pretty quickly this season. We can't have another year with such attacking weakness in the centres.
