One was coming from Horwich and fancied because of the ease of getting there by train, 2 others coming direct from Manchester again by train, all 3 will struggle to get to Leigh due to work finishing times.
Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.
Is this because of the Bury match (which is still showing on Latics ' website as the next day) or the continual problem with the pitch? Interestingly , I found this site: http://www.cockneylatic.co.uk/index.php ... &Itemid=50 which suggests the issue with the pitch is less the rugby use but deeply underlying: "The location of the stadium is on marshland that also has an extensive sewage tank sytem still underneath it, the tanks weren’t removed when the initial build was done and it would be too costly and time consuming to do it now." i.e methane

True nothing to do with rugby being played on it, the pitch was terrible before the start of the game against Catalans and we hadn't played on it for 4 months !!! Politics between the football , warriors and stadium owners, no tickets for sale on the wigan website for this fixture, we ( season ticket holders ) are like mushrooms being kept in the dark, who knows what is going on , both sets of fans have to make travel arrangements etc, if it's moved away from the DW at this late stage I see a Liverpool style boycott and that appears to have struck a nerve with the owners of LFC pretty sharpish, hopefully goes ahead at the DW should be a cracking game , well done on your win last week !
