You are so right - he steadied the ship when he came back on. We did look vulnerable in defence when Alker, Stapleton and Swain were off at the same time.
Also, isn't it great to have a stand off who can time a pass?

Alker was instrumental tonight, both in attack and defence. He was quick away from dummy half and he was always the first man in tackling. He had a great game tonight.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

And he's still young enough to get a contract at Saints.

Despite not wearing the armband he played with all the leadership of a captain.

Yep, Malc responded really well tonight after losing the captaincy. Looked especially dangerous running from dummy half.

Did he get the man of the match on Sky? Think I saw him walking off the field carrying a bottle so assumed he did.

I thought we lacked direction when he was off the park.

Played real well when he was on. Best I've seen him play for a long time.
