Once again a decision by a referee (the sin binning of Chase following a blatant forward pass that resulted in a try) has had a massive impact on a result!
Had Lee Briers or Sam Tompkins questioned the ref, the decision on the try would probably have been reversed as I'm sure the ref wouldn't have reacted in the same way and the touch judge would probably have given the ref a nod seeing a replay on the big screen and disallowed the try.
That was the pivotal moment in yesterdays game and the fact that stand in winger Jordan Thompson was beaten for pace on the outside for the next try to take the Giants further ahead, when Chase would no doubt have been in a position to cover and stop the attack, in addition to possibly set up further Cas attacks.

It wasn't blatant and its not good enough reacting like Chase did.

Jordan Thompson got left stranded twice by Lee Gilmour jamming in too tight, Jords not a winger and stood no chance against pure pace.

Cas got humped while Chase sat on the sidelines, very clever.
