No surprise. Good young Super League hooker. Shows what happens when you bring youth into your first-team squad rather than bringing in Aussies.

not suprised anyone who has watched him come through the acadamy and into the first team knows he`s an exceptional player.

last year in the few games he showed that he`s going to be a good player and i cant wait to see him in the first team on a regular basis next season.

I think the most important factor is bringing these guys through.

Would you rather us bring local lads through to Super League class and them get bought by clubs like Hull or just not bother and have a team filled with Aussies like other teams in the league?

Of course i want to see local talent come through. I also want to see local talent STAY with us.

Apparently Daz Clark is another good prospect coming through at hooker, a year younger though.

Yep a very good youngster with a big future ahead of him.
An airedale lad who i believe is tee total lets hope he stays that way.

Woah! That is unusual.

Hanging on to players is always an issue. I have said for years the RFL should impose a fee on the transfer of ex academy players below a certain age even if they are out of contract. Even if it's only £10k, that money will help run the academy for the season after.

Is Hudson contracted beyond next season? If Hudson retires after this season, we will have 2 fantastic hookers to take over. Hopefully the temptation of being an integral part of the squad will be enough for them.
