There were some Tweets after the game from press saying there was talk in the press box the pitch was at fault. But if that was the case there would have probably been more than 2 injuries, unless they occurred in exactly the same spot.

But any compensation would come from the stadium owners not RFU...and it would just be classed as a occupational hazard no doubt.

They have been kicked out until after the WCC at least, probably for the rest of their season.

Their crowds can easily be accommodated at Otley or West Park Bramhope.
