There will always be people that game the system. There will always be undesirables in any significant group. It is how we create a society that encourages these people to behave in a more considered way.

The vast majority of asylum seekers are looking for a better life. There will always be scum prepared to exploit their vulnerability. Whilst ever we are unable to deal with these low lives the trend will continue. The question should be what are we as a society prepared to do to make it unprofitable/too dangerous for these people to operate in this country.

We need to elevate what is acceptable behaviour in society.

This is difficult to do with the example set by the current government particularly during the de Pfeffel period.

I would agree - hopefully Sunak and then Starmer will elevate the behaviour of the MPs and the government as a whole. We wont end up with another Pandemic and the scum that took advantage and weak ministers who allowed it to happen

Don’t forget the chancellor who dished up funds to fake companies with 4.2 billion still to be recovered I believe.

Looks like an outbreak of cultural enrichment has occurred in the Wakefield area. I note a senior police officer attended the press conference..
I am working on the assumption that Wakefield is a crime free area. Thus enabling him to assist in the cultural enrichment programme.
Almost forgot, any sign of the batley school teacher who failed his cultural enrichment test? Apparently he hasn’t been seen for quite awhile, not certain why that is.

Easily forgotten about. Just like you’ve forgot about the hundreds of English servicemen who died and the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis that died on the back of labours lies

And just like youve forgotten about Churchill and the deaths he caused in India. Or do you want to be selective about the past?

You must have forgotten the original reason a coalition force went to Iraq/Kuwait in the first place.

I am sure it was something to do with a brutal dictator who killed 100000's of people, sometimes in a gruesome fashion, who invaded another country.

The world is full of brutal dictators who kill thousands of their own citizens to maintain control - we can't be the world's police.

Trying to lighten the thread but can’t all these Asylum seekers be allowed to stay if they were made to be Giants fans, help fill the stadium a bit.
