I am organising some fundraising breakfasts at the George Hotel for two of England's Four Nations games and the final.
The proceeds of these events were all going to be given to the Mayor of Kirklees 2010 Charity Appeal in support of Combat Stress http://www.combatstress.org.uk/

Following the tragic events of last Friday the proceeds from the New Zealand game on the 23rd October will be passed on to the dependents of Matthew Smith formerly of Siddal ARLFC.

With 6 Giants players in the squad it would be nice to see a few of you at The George supporting the team. the Mayors Appeal and a devastated rugby league family. Please see below for details.

Great Britain Lions At Each Breakfast – 1970 Lions Captain Frank Myler, Roger Millward MBE, Mick Sullivan, Garry Schofield OBE with many more to be confirmed. Mayor of Kirklees Andrew Palfreeman will also be in attendance.
