20 years ago today 34-20 at Old Trafford Can't remember much,vaguely think we played in the purple (probably not) Sure Daryll Powell scored four tries,Funnily enough i can still picture that Big Wigan womens face who was sat behind me shouting and bawling in my ear and dropping pie crust down my new trendy Kappa top at the time. Charlie Macallister,What a unit he was,Similar to Menzie in a way but not as good,He was a tough cookie,I had it in my mind that Andy Young,Close & Tim Lumb played,Memory not the best.Is Lumpy Tim Lumb?
