Johnny,On the subject off supporters not going,I'm sure there's some Leigh fans that are not going due to circumstances but you seem to ignore that,think your just jealous that a club with smaller numbers can get a better team and be more successful than your team Halifax,don't pick on other teams when it's your team that's been in rugby league for years but lag behind the sheffield eagles,the tide has turned,deal with it,don't be bitter.

As Griff put, we've never had any fans, Halifax used to have thousands. Where did they all go?

No fans, above Halifax in the league, further in the Challenge Cup and further in the NRC. It must sting like hell

BTW: 11 teams have competed for the Cup(Buddies and Arriva Trains then NRC) in the final in 11 years and ...........Sheffield Eagles have NEVER lost a final.

Teams which have lost: Halifax, Castleford, Whitehaven, Featherstone, Barrow, Doncaster, Hull KR, Leigh, Widnes. Winners who have never lost: Huddersfield, Batley, Salford.

5 of those teams now in Super League, and two who did not survive Super League........... that surely speaks reams...........

Hull KR, Huddersfield, Salford and Leigh played in finals prior to the 2005 season when it became the Northern Rail Cup.


So lets see if Sheffield can join the elite of never losing a final................... time will tell

Shorty , how many Finals have the seagulls appeared in ?As for the Mighty Leythers we have indeed lost a Final , but we have won a RECORD 3 Finals and we ALL know 2013 is the Year of the Centurion ,CHARLIE KNOWS .
