The misunderstaning arose during a 'phone call between Simon and the RFL, he has aked me to pass this on from his contact there.


"Please see attached. The * and the note at the bottom of the page is in line with B3:15 so you will get home advantage should you win and should Halifax win. This note was missing from the hard copy I was looking at when we spoke so it was my mistake entirely. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."

Therefore wins for the Eagles and Halifax will see a home tie for the Eagles, hope this clarifies the situation.
