I know Batley have got good lights what I meant was Batley kickoff early so we could too save buying new lights!

And remember we play in the summer and the only avaliable dates to play at Owlerton would be sat or sun afternoon so we would only need floodlights in Jan and Feb and we could kick off at 2pm in those months

Would it be possible to ground share with Sheffield FC? You could even take some Don Valley stuff with you... seats, floodlights, etc.

No the ground is very compact and the pitch is not big enough

The lights at Owlerton are fine. They are the same lights that we played under in the late 80's. Don't forget the pitch hasn't needed to be lit for some time. A few adjustments and I'm sure it'll be fine. I just hope that the council will fund the mods to the pitch & fund another dressing room. The dressing room that the away teams used in the 80's is now a games room.

First meeting with Owlerton management yesterday - not much reported on it in the star this morning
