That was you was it Charlie - first time I've seen someone ejected from a RL match and you deserved it - maybe it should have been a life time ban - well lets make it one now . ( Actually I think I told the stewards to chuck you out! or maybe not 20 years is a long time)

I remember one of the sponsors being thrown out in 1991. He deserved it, too. No-one's exempt.

My best memory of DVS is nothing to do with Sheffield Eagles. It is of my grandson Charlie (who carried the Olympic Torch through Clifton Park, Rotherham last year) sprinting down the home straight as though his a*se was on fire in a 3K Fun Run in 2009 (ish) to come in 8th overall and then trip up. He is convinced he was pushed but he wasn't. I just wish I had a photograph to show the look on his face when he got up.

There was more than just me ejected that afternoon , there was about 10 of us , I spoke to a friend tonight who was also ejected , he said we were ejected ,for CHEERING to loud and not sitting Down ,the Seagulls won this game very easily , you did have your usual imports swelling your ranks didn't you have an AUSSIE , second-rower called Carr ?

Not sitting down, eh ? Clear breach of Health and Safety Regulations. Cheering too loud ? Noise pollution.
