What is the car parking situation like?
info weve been given
'Car Parking.
There are numerous car parks both private and public that are within easy walking distance of the Stadium. Standard charges will apply for public car parks, charges for private car parks will be at the owners discretion. From a crime prevention perspective Cheshire Constabulary advise that spectators do not leave any valuable on view. Golden Square, Cockhedge and Market car parks are free to park on Sundays.
Tesco Car Park
TESCO shopping centre car park, adjacent to the Stadium, is strictly for use by Tesco customers only. Tesco have the option to use the parking barriers. The car park is also stewarded on match days. Please do not park your car in this car park unless you have a valid pass for the event as you will be issued with a fixed penalty fine of £50.00
In conjunction with Warrington Wolves & Warrington Borough Council there is a controlled parking zone around the stadium. This is to ensure that match day parking does not inconvenience local residents or cause road safety problems. Controlled zones are clearly marked and fines will be imposed for illegal parking'
last year the carparks between the ground an town centre seem to cope ok....free too with it being a sunday, I would imagine it'll be even easier this year
