Thank goodness this vile chapter in rugby league history is coming to an end

Of the two options left of the league structure proposals i must say i lean more towards a straight promo/rele rather than 2x12 into 3x8s

Either way the glass ceiling is going to be lifted AMEN

Would be very interested in what griff has to say about this as he was very pro franchising,personally it was a good idea in concept but wasn't followed through by the clubs,ie grounds,cas,Wakefield,less foreign players,the clubs had the chance but nothing changed,it was all about development but they stuck with the old format,foreign players,win at all costs.

Yep - no doubt there'll be minimum standards and folk whinging about the RFL not making an exception for their club after they'd not kept up with minimum standards and spent all their money on team-building.

We've got maybe seven teams being relegated so are you better going down this year, so that you've a better chance of winning promotion from Div 3 in 2014 than avoiding relegation from Div 2 ?

And - yes - somebody could make the play-offs, theoretically at least win the comp, get relegated.

But you can win promotion on the field so everything's OK.

Finances are the key to it all, it has to be distributed better under the quickly 'revised' 2 leagues into 3 option there is no proposal regarding finances yet? (this option will come in in my opinion but i'm not keen on it)

For any potential new supporters licensing sounds ridiculous, alot of people i have tried to drag to games cannot understand why as GF winners last season we were not promoted. Trying to explain it doesn't work like that and the system is..... they either fall asleep or say "thats pretty s***" thus interest lost

One day i want to see superleague back in sheffield under licensing this won't happen IMO purely down to how many turn up week in week out, things like the superb youth system we have and the large catchment area we have would simply be overlooked in any licensing bidding

If the structure/licensing was left as it was i think the championships will suffer more and more we are already seeing the start of some clubs becoming super league "reserve" clubs

Take your points, but how long do you think we'd last in $uperleague without a crowd ?

Doesn't matter how many millions are in your catchment area - what matters is how often the turnstile clicks.
