Just a couple of players to look at they may strengthen the squad:

Roman Ovchinnikov- Russian international who played a season with Balmain Tigers a couple of seasons back....can play in the halves and hooker. Highly rated.

Chris Bettie- Massive prop forward who used to play NRL with Cronulla & Easts. Also played SOO for QLD. Plying his trade within France for LÉZIGNAN. Would size and experience. Has played in France for 3 years so may be okay to play for London under the new rules....maybe??? What a great buy he would be though.

James Wynne- Capt/coach for LÉZIGNAN. Halfback-hooker who would have a great impact with the younger kids around London. Is naturalized through playing in France for the past 6 years.

Dean Bosnich's- Capt/coach for Pia....strong lock-2nd rower who is a very good player. Played NRL for Cronulla also. Has been playing in France for the past 5 years.

Saia Makisi and Teddy Sadaoui- quality centres playing for CARCASSONNE. Makisi played for Whitehaven last season and was a standout while Sadaoui would benefit from playing good rugby all year round.

A couple of these players would strengthen and give depth within the team while providing experience and leadership for the young guys coming through the club. As we struggle to recruit players from the heartlands and we can rely on the backpacker element anymore, we need to also look outside the box for players in order to help continue the good work being done with our juniors.
