Thats great! Coincidentally I wore your Leeds scarf for the day (as I do if I watch Leeds in the pub) .Im absolutely gutted I couldn't be up there to see the first match in person , but I hope to see the Hull.
Should be back at Headingley later this year and in Scotland (should should you fancy to swap back) hopefully Irman (chequerhead) might be in the country for that one too! Hope the Gogs take to the NEW CLUB as we did down here (and MORE) to the Celts.
The Brewery Field has changed alot since we left Sadlers and Presidents bars been completely done out . Its still the home of Bridgend RUFC but now they share it with the Welsh Football League club Bridgend Town AFC who were playing out of Trefforest. Both sides get less than 500 crowds I'd say so don't know how they're going to make it profitable other than stage RU age grade /womens matches there. Crusaders U18s are still based down here in Maesteg (15 mins from Bridgend)
The local RL side Bridgend Blue Bulls as far as I know still play out of Porthcawl RUFC.The Welsh Conference is growing into a two division set up net season with four new teams (all South Wales based) set up. Not sure whas happening up North as yet.
Best of luck against the Aussies!
