Two key elements for the new Cru has to be to try to get back on S4C as Celtic Crusaders were in the old Championship days to raise the profile around Wales and play when fans have the best chance of getting to games ie. Sundays.

Love my Rugby League.

The game will survive in North Wales. Too much work and effort has been put in, to let it go to waste. We have an appetite for this sport and we'll make it work.

You're likely to see me in a Crusaders shirt, in a Warrington game or a Catalans game.

The clubs explanation for playing on Friday nights was that 2 of the 3 highest attendances in 2010 were on Friday nights. They didn't take into consideration that one of them was the first match up in Wrexham and the other was Gareth Thomas' debut in Rugby League. Both are going to attract biggest crowds.

I honestly think by playing on Sundays we would have about 1,000 minimum extra on the gates. There would be a lot more away travel and people from South Wales coming up. People aren't working also and can bring their children. So many little, silly decisions that have cost us. In the end of the day, it all assists to not having enough money, the reason why we had to pull out. Just shows how poorly the club was run.

You're correct. I think we got around 7,000 for the Hull FC game at home last season. That was played on a Sunday and was our second home game of the season.

It was snowing and some of the Hull fans helped clear the snow from the pitch.

I really do think this game is going to be one that'll be remembered for a long long time. Lets turn out in strong numbers and show how much Rugby League means to us in North Wales and Wales as a whole. It promises to be emotional, but I hope we all just enjoy the time we know we have left following the Cru.

The actual game should be a cracker too. Both sides want the win for completely different reasons and IMO, at their best are probably much better sides, than what the league ladder suggests.

Lets leave Super League in style and with a fighting mentality.
