Doncaster Rugby League Academy at Balby Carr Academy of Sport
Doncaster RLFC will be running a Rugby League Academy in September 2011. The Academy, run at Balby Carr Academy of Sport is aimed at players in the surrounding area who want to combine their education with continuing to play Rugby League. Students will leave the Academy with 2-3 A-Levels and an opportunity to progress through to either University or start a professional career in the sport. The course content has been specially designed to cover all technical, physical, psychological and biomechanical aspects of Rugby League.
