When any life is lost it's a tragedy for the family & friends left behind. When the life is of a young lad of 19 it only serves to deepen that sense of loss that he had so much ahead of him. I hope his friends, family and colleagues find the strength to draw comfort from what was achieved in his short life and not agonise too much in what has been missed out on. Sport has no meaning at times like this other than to
draw together as a wider family and share the burden of grief - and all fans of the oval ball be we from left or right of the Pennines share your grief at this awful time.
RIP young Lion & best wishes for a speedy & full recovery for your mate.
