How many players in your current squad would any other club want. Not more than a couple.
After every defeat the same old excuses
Game plan game management playing Horne in the centre didn't work last season so why now, this is only one of many I could highlight.
We were told our recruitment addressed our defence out wide ?
When our leaders return we will be ok, the same was said of Hilter and Mussolini.
Today against Hull was embarrassing the season ahead hold nothing but pain looking at what Chester has assembled.
The bottom line is there would be little or no point in changing things now god knows what Peacock must be thinking he has let himself in for.
If we could inject half of the plays and effort of the Castleford team who spend less than us in the salary cap I would be happy. We ain't ever going to win the league but it would be nice to have a consistent run of results.

STOP dreaming while chester is in charge we will win nothing he has to go now

If we don't change things now, we will ship 50 points a game throughout the regular season.
I'm glad you quoted Cas, because they are a good example of a team that is well coached, plays with desire, and produces better than the sum of all its parts should. Darryl Powell has made a real difference to the team and its performances and results. Ditto Paul Anderson at the Giants.
'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.
Surely peacock has to shoulder some of the blame for your recruitment?
Tbf to Peacock, technically he's only been in post for about 3 weeks.
That said, there was always a nagging concern that what he learned playing for dominant teams with more cash to chuck at stuff than most of their rivals, would need significant adaptation for a team aspiring to mid-table in the short to medium term.
It's a weird situation, and on one level you want everyone to pull together. But on another, despite not having played a minute of competitive rugby in 2016, it feels like it might be too far gone. Normally, I'd be saying that is a massive over-reaction. But having spent the off-season hoping that my misgivings were baseless, because Chester knows much more about it than me, to hear him so shaken - well, it doesn't inspire confidence that he can fix it.
I think you have to give it 4 weeks or so - in part to make coherent alternative arrangements, but if it isn't getting significantly better by then there'll be no choice. I want the board to back him, for now. While it undermines that, I also hope they're working on a plan b.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
I agree with Jake the Peg …..Motu Tony brought Pritchard, Manu and Fonua to Hull FC as their major signings ……Jamie Peacock brought Clarkson, Minns and Mulhern to Hull KR as their major signings (Thornley excluded, who, so far, has been as pap as the rest of the team anyway) ……Apparently Peacock has a five year plan for Rovers, which is why they have decided to invest in youth, but, that youth has to have talent and not just youth on their side ……I wonder if Peacock’s five year plan includes dropping down to the Championship ……If so, then I wonder if Peacock will be extending his five year plan to a ten year plan?
Out of all the Super League clubs this year, it is blatantly obvious that Hull KR have recruited the most poorly ……Well done, Rovers! ……Well done commemorating our tenth year anniversary in the Super League by making that year the most probable year we could drop out of the Super League! …..Well done, Rovers ……Great management!
Whilst it seems as though it is all going pear-shaped, it always seems ten times worse when we lose to FC, I think pause is needed to consider we are still in pre-season.
Yes, the defence is still (mickey) poor or more to the point taking the mickey, but I expected to lose on learning Chezzy had flogged the players during the week, and TBH I was pleased to see the effort in the final quarter by the players. They didn't give up even when stirring down the barrel.
I think most of us are sensible enough to know it will be tight getting into the Super8s but I feel with Campo and Lunt (the other half of the spine) we have a chance.
I know Rovers are better then the efforts they have shown in the trial games, they are basically the same side that turned over many of the top six), so between now and the season opener there is plenty of hard work and honesty needed to right the wrongs; Oh, and two things must not happen again in 2016 - Horne playing centre and a prop at loose.
Bottom line is that nearly every fan could see we needed some impact in the props and it was essential to get in quality into the 2nd row. Now if this was apparent to the fans what the hell did the coaching staff do about it?
Chester sounded shocked and stunned, why? No one else was, it was obvious is was going to happen all we have done in the off season is compound our weaknesses.
