The squad v wakefield Dixon Mantellato Sio Blair Walker Mcarthy Allgood Donaldson Burke Salter Welham Green Ollett Boudebza Lunt Greenwood Puletua Marsh Chisholm. Unless he is injured,I think the omission of cockayne is a poor decision, deserved a place after missing out at wembley and dixon having the game he had.

I think Dixon has to play because of how he played last week show him the coaches have faith in him
I fully agree that Dixon needs sticking straight back in. Get him back on the horse, he may have had a stinker last week, but even when everything went to rat poop he kept trying to make a breakthrough instead of just taking the safe options when the game was lost, and that needs to be taken into consideration.
Salter is a turnstile most of the time and average on attack, been like it most of the season with obviously a couple of exceptions. Would have put Charlie on the wing with Sio inside him.
Yes Dixon made some howlers at Wembley, but he was also one and just about the only one that did try and be creative in attack in a game where we mostly played one man rugby and nobody supported anybody.
I don't rate Greenwood highly either but Green is a welcome addition.
I'm looking forward to seeing Marsh. Might he be our first decent home grown halfback in years?

In my opinion Chester has made the absolute right decision by playing Dixon on Sunday. If you have ever played yourself and had a mare of a game(count me in on that score), the last thing you then need is to be scorned by both your coach and fans alike, at such times, words of encouragement and belief in your ability from those around you can do wonders, it can be the difference between curling up and going into your shell or getting back on your horse and trying to get back on course. Despite his errors of late, Dixon is a wonderful young talent who will most certainly be a crowd pleaser for years to come, anyone who says he should be dropped, moved on to the wing, or even in some peoples opinions got rid of all together, haven't got a clue what they are talking about in my opinion. To use part of a quote from Dale Carnegie....."Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence''.

Chester had already said he was going to play dixon at some stage which I agree with, but I thought charlie could have been on the bench at least,if as chester said "dixon would be given some game time"

I didnt say dixon should be dropped, but if chesters only going to give dixon some game time, who would play full back when dixon isn't on? I actually think dixon would be better on the wing and mantellato at full back,he's safe under the high ball and a strong runner given a bit of space.
Glad Dixon is playing on Sunday. Needs game time to prove his worth and restore his fragile confidence. However, if he has another mare on Sunday like Wembley, that could be the end of his contribution in a Rovers shirt this season. No pressure there, then.
Harsh on Cockayne, however, missing selection 2 games running. I think Horne and Larroyer are paying the price for extremely underwhelming and below par performances last week.
Is Tilse definitely on his way back to Oz then? I assume that's why he's "rotated" this week.
Finally, compare Leeds Rhinos right centre, Kallum Watkins, to our right centre, Liam Salter. Divisions apart in skill and creativity. Ken Sio's tryscoring effectiveness is suffering by having Salter inside him. I know he's homegrown, but he's not good enough for SL imo. Welham, despite his shortcomings, is more creative.

It was a rumour from oz/newcastle that he was going back but gareth westmorland tweeted he had spoken to tilse and and he would be surprised if he went back as he is happy here
