Peter Fox Vs Ade Gardener : Sat Feb 28, 2009 10:27 am
Foxy looked like an absolute world beater last night up against England's best winger. ( )

He didn't have a yard to move in all 2nd half (Gardener) because of Foxy's close marking and he really got shown up for a lack of pace I have never noticed before for the kick chase try.

Fox and Briscoe first choice for England at long last?

Calderwood and Gardener are already crap.

Lee Smith is not actually a full back either.

Gardener is only good at catching balls from Gidley and falling over the line in the corner

Raynor doesn't play for Saints!

Tbh though I really like Fox and think he will be a regular in the England team in the next couple of years. Gardner is really average and I just wish the selectors would realise this about him.

I also think that Lee Smith will be ahead of Briscoe for the fb position for England.

Calderwood used to be decent at Leeds but everyone knows his best days are well over.

Fox is the future and we should be using the players we will rely on soon whenever we can.

I said Briscoe should be in the England/GB team when he was at Hull and IMO Lee Smith shouldnt be allowed to lace the guys boots. There is nobody braver in the game than Brisk and I think there were a fair few Saints fans last night that would agree Briscoe should be Englands number 1.

But England don't need a brave and safe fb. They need an attacking fb who can evade tackles etc.

We need to attack against the Ozzies and NZ, there is no point in having safe defensive players against teams like Oz, because it won't win you games it will just delay whent they score.
