Do you really think by signing one player(not even a poor one), we will drop 8 places and finish in the middle 8's. If he does anything wrong, then he won't play and will be released and we will be fine.

It's a risk, but one worth taking with our depth.

Wasnt saying that just because you've signed kelly... You black and whites just irritate me.. you all seem to think you know the ins and out of our club.. should concentrate on yours and let us concentrate on ours... I couldn't care less what goes on at your club. So dont see why you lot are so interested in ours..

Also I was a big fan of alby and think on his day he is unplayable.. but if what I believe he's done is true then if I was lee radford I wouldn't of gone near him... even his best mate maurice blair doesnt talk to him now from what I'm told

I had the conversation about middle8s next season with a hull fan but he got all gangster when I suggested hull wouldn't be top 4 and imo may be back in the perennial fight between 6-9.i wouldn't be that surprised to see them and us in the middle 8. Interesting season ahead for both teams

To suggest Rovers sacked Kelly purely as a financial measure is naive in the extreme, as anyone with even a passing understanding of employment law will tell you.

Kelly was suspended for a last straw act, which was at the end of a long line of previous misdemeanours. I applaud the club for taking a principled stand against a very disruptive bloke, who had lost support from all his work colleagues at that point.

His dismissal would have been on solid legal grounds otherwise we'd be looking at an unfair dismissal case from fat lad.

Don't be daft Craig.

We don't have a Woolworths no more but pick any shop window in the HU1 vicinity, & I will gladly get my @rse out, if we get in the middle 8s, I'll even get Radders to join me.

Apart from return late from Oz, what did he do that warranted his dismissal?

Leeds and Huddersfield are testament to just how quickly things can turn sour, if adequate, on going recruitment is not managed well. That said , if anything, we have an arguably stronger squad for the next campaign , than we did this time last year, so I don't see that scenario becoming a reality at Hull, especially as Salford, Wakefield, Widnes and Huddersfield are not really stronger this year, with at least two of that four being considerably weaker than last season.

Watched the highlights of Heffenden's best bits on youtube, which can sometimes be mis-leading, but, given that he will make his bow in what should be a dominant Championship team, you look to have signed a good player and Sheens' contacts look to be already significantly better than the three previous incumbent's. I think you'll be in the middle 8's and possibly get promoted, depends on the latter part of season reinforcements you van attract, but not us.

FC won't be in the middle 8's barring a cataclysmic injury crisis, Kelly on a one year 'last chance saloon' deal will work his socks off and will win them games. We sacked him, he moved on.

Everybody happy now!

Can we get back to KR related matters now?

The thing with YouTube clips is that every player looks great so you might as well ignore them in reality
