Well we've shown our commitment by offering a contract I thought out of our top end players who could get SL contracts I thought Josh would stay but if he's hanging out for SL contract good luck to him but I think it's time to say make a decision either way

Lancaster would be a decent option, but he's not played many first grade games and there's already a lot of 'potential' in the squad.

the fact that we are starting with a lightweight back row, makes it imperative that we have 2 wingers who can take runs down the middle of the park to compensate.

It would appear TS has signed who he wants and retained who he wants from the players prepared to sign for 2017. As all Superleague contracts were nullified on relegation the decks were automatically cleared. The aim seems to be 3/4 more signings and leaving space on the cap to sign experienced players for the middle eights should we achieve a top four finish and finances allow, following the Leigh model.

Exactly the kind of signing we need, a good player, with a good kicking game.
We can offer him a chance to rediscover his best form and who knows what the next season holds for him.
Next we need to find an "under loved" winger. Tom Lineham anyone ?

If Ellis signs I don't think we require Abdull, more of a running half.

The player I mentioned earlier in week is a young up and coming Penrith player.

Think he is called Heffernan, and is only 21. He can play half back, full back and centre, but has been down the pecking order below Wallace and Soward.
