If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
Just watching the tries back again, we could have signed a diamond in Minns, his little step and go for his third was quality, Thornley on the other side showed good strength.
Early, early days though.
All this season is going to be about is survival, encouraging number of Rovers fans there yesterday.
Most people think it was a good performance, even the Cas coach admitted that! Of course the win was totally due to Cas' failings and nothing to do with how we played. If it makes you feel better to think that then good luck to you.
You are not alone in that attitude though. Go on Wigan's or Saints' pages after they suffer a defeat.
If you think it was good opposition you played that day ..good on you. The fact is, that was the worst performance under powell.

Can only play what's in front of you and credit has to go to Rovers for making Cas have their worst game under Powell. Cas won't have come out intending to underperform, they were out enthused from the get go.
Not many sides will nil Cas in a half of rugby this season or score 58 points at MAH. Yes Cas played poor but massive credit to us for that. A good vocal following too as mention in the posts above. I expected a big response from the lads but did not envisaged that scoreline.
