I'd assume ftf was referring to the fifth year of the five year plan. Perhaps, in the spirit of the thread mb is looking back at an earlier plan, I dunno.

I think Pearsons 5 year plan is to see how quickly he can offload his loss making venture. Didn't he give up his Leeds united dream to concentrate 100% on Hull FC

Rovers have 10 players earning £100k or above which has been a bit of a problem in respect of the quality of the other 15 salary capped squad members. And maybe some .... certainly not all....of the 100k players haven't given full value.

We're turning the corner though, some big earning players will leave this year vacating precious cap & quota. That's something you manage from year to year but the constant has to be a conveyor belt of young (local or not local) talent and 2017 will bear the biggest dividend in that respect for many,many a year.

IMO we have bottomed out....that's now and is all that is visible to some .
