If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Taylor's introduction turned the game on its head today. Its hard to believe he's only 21. Props peak in their late 20's, so he could be a fixture for Rovers and England for many years to come.

It did, his two barn storming runs were inspirational, his best game for us so far. He's never looked out of place from his début away at Leeds a couple of years ago.

Just edged by Dobson for man of the match who really took the game by the scruff of the neck and controlled everything from twenty minutes in, fabulous forty twenty.

I also thought Jordan Cox had his best game in a Rovers shirt so far, ran good lines and was looking for the off load at every opportunity, this kids also going to be a star.

Yep Cox, Taylor and Watts (He has gone backwards a tad I agree but he was good again today) are only yound kids and already don't look out of place.
We have others on the way as well as far as I know so we may well be rotating homegrown forwards for years to come.

Dont be ridiculous. FC are going to mop up all the English talent there is to go with their best in the world signing of Ellis.

We can potentially get four times as many years out of Taylor and Cox then Hull will see from Ellis and the way they are both performing they certainly seem to have the ability to be as big.

If they impress us well enough we will have them, til then we'll make do with Ellis.

I'm probably gunna get laughed at here but he really reminds me of Jamie Peacock.
What I mean is that Peacock is just a dog of war he will make you 7M+ most times he takes the ball up and he is willing to put his head and body in the tackle when it is best not to and he is just tough.
Scott Taylor is going to be exactly the same IMHO.
