Good solid performance from the players, thought the batley fans were terrific, and good to know they thought the same about us and our club.Good luck to them all for the future.I changed my email address and forgot my password hence my 1st post. What a plank. No doubt you'll all agree
what the weekends games prove apart from the top 2 in the championship it is a wast of time It should be bottom team super league V top team in the championship home and away winner takes all
Thanks for a really enjoyable matchday experience. Having not visited your stadium since 2006, I have to say the improvements you've made are great. Good to see a club with its own ground spend some money on making it a nice place - unlike others who wait for the council to give them handouts and are happy to charge fans top dollar for entry into a hovel.
Except that the new North Stand you were sitting in was funded by the Hull City Council & ERDF, as well as the council owning the land and charging a peppercorn rent.

I was waiting for some Hull fan to jump on that comment on cue as usual but doesn't mention the brand new stadium they got funny that
'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.

Did you use Google translate to get to this from 'Community-funded investment in a community facility for the community.'?

Haha. Thought a plonker like you would of replied to that one.
I don't have a problem with it. You and every other RL club should take what they're offered if it helps. Jim Bergerac has an issue with clubs getting help from the council, not me. Just that none of you wanted to correct him.

Yes but the council use a big chunk of the building so never really gave us the money to build a new stand it benefits them also

Yeh, I'm aware of how it works, not really sure what your point is.
Rovers benefit from an asset they didn't have to pay for. Which is fine. The more money coming into the sport, however it comes in, is great. I haven't any issue with it (why would I?). Just pointing it out to our mate from Batley (or Jersey).

I've negotiated a council tax rebate refusing to pay the upkeep on our cross town rivals home. Having initially reported them for squatting I was informed the homeless do have some rights when staying in unoccupied buildings. I demanded a rebate on religious grounds. The council claimed they were travellers until I pointed out they weren't. Just a bunch of deluded fools with delusions of grandeur. The council stated they were in fact lost Sharks looking for a new home and identity. They agreed and let me off 10%. They said not to worry the current landlords would have them out soon.
