We were easily the best team by a mile throughout. Wait though, for 60 minutes we were better than the dark side, without playing anything like our best. Better still, for the last 20 minutes we were the best at dishing up turd rugby at its dumb finest, donating 2 points to a very average side.

Officiating was the worst I've seen for a long, long time.

I am quite sanguine about the result, seen it several times from both teams in the last 50 years. That said, Hull are no way a top 4 SL side, but we are nailed on bottom 4.

The most confusing post ever. Are we poor, average or just not bottom 4? Better or worse than you?

No sour grapes, we played the best pack in the history of SL and they never managed to get out of their own half for 20+ minutes. There was no stepping up, we stepped down. As I say no problem with banter but yeaman over stepped the mark.

Still waiting to hear what this major crime was from Yeaman. Unless you are just making things up again.

Thank god for that. I thought I was in the minority that is quite upset over this result from being twenty up.

Turns out you only need to turn up for 20 minutes to beat Rovers this year.

Yeaman was goading the east stand, he's a Hull lad and proud of it, let's move on as it was nothing.

What a great advert for the game and apart from the stupid smoke bomb it was a great atmosphere ( all teams have these idiots but Hull have more than most others).
I thought the refereeing evened itself out, Rovers got a few calls in the first half and Hull got them in the second half.
For most of the game Rovers were the better team and then very similar to the Salford game they lost control, giving away silly penalties and making some daft decisions. Rovers need to sort out the marker defense, we give away too many penalties at marker from lots of different players.
Thoroughly enjoyed the game but not the result.
