Kelly gets hit off the ball most games, sometimes quite bad, we get nothing yet in the Cats v Wigan game its pounced on. If you'd been at the game Friday you would have seen the discrepancies in the decisions and if it was your club you'd have an opinion. I pay a lot of money for myself, wife and grandkids to go to games, so I am entitled to my opinion and that is that there are too many inconsistencies in refereeing standards and in the way the RFL deal with certain clubs. It's all well and good you saying accept it, but why the hell should we accept such poor levels, I would be out the door with my P45 if I performed as poorly as some of the officials.

I had a clear view of several incidents of foul play from Warrington, including tackles around the head that were ignored, yet we get pounced on for the smallest transgression. I don't think 'everybody hates us' as you put it, but I have believed for a long time that there is a difference in the way certain clubs are dealt with, Friday was typical of it.

That is so myopic it's unreal. Do you really believe there is some conspiracy against rovers by the RFL, handed down and executed through referees and the disciplinary panel? What utter tosh. You get treated no differently to anyone else.

But then you're only paranoid if they don't all have it in for you

No they don't. I regularly get PM's from rovers fans saying how preferable I am on this board to you and your previous odious incarnation

Green looking at 2-3 games. Fair enough...but Cox not even cautioned

Cockayne also likely to be banned.

It's too far fetched to make up.

It may be far fetched but perhaps they watched the video and saw that the "head-butt" was a complete fabrication as I said at the time as I was watched the incident unfold.

Also Cockayne knew exactly what he had done to Hill and apologized to him as Hill struggled to his feet, occurred right on the Hull KR line under the sticks in the first half.

So two Hull KR players cited for grade B and C respectively yet neither were a penalty for Warrington yet you plead victimisation.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.

Re: Green sending off : Mon Jul 04, 2016 7:00 pm
Forget about the victimisation mullarkey. It's a non story.

Here's a headline grabbing statement for you. SUPERLEAGUE RL FANS BRAND GAME'S GOVERNING BODY MORE UNFIT FOR PURPOSE THAN THE EU. Apologies for sounding like a Dr Cockroach impersonator here.

On a serious note, I have witnessed some poor and inconsistent officiating at live games and on most televised games this year, but that referee at our game against the Wire last Friday should never take charge of a SL fixture ever again. Beyond crap.

Sadly there are incidents of varying severity in many games that go unreported and those that do come before the RFL disciplinary committee are subject to wild and inconsistent variations in interpretation and subsequent punishment. Again beyond crap.

Finally, Cox was flinging repeated punches at Green, albeit mainly air shots, up to the point he went down like a sack of spuds. Why no yellow card at least or citation on Cox? Inconsistent and beyond crap.

Fans of all clubs seem to think there club is badly done to its usually the teams fans that are at the wrong end of the table mainly because the teams at the top are winning so the fans are less inclined to have anything to moan about

Like almost everyone else I followed the ball so I don't know how it started, but Green clearly reacted to something & I assume the officials must also have witnessed something to give us the penalty. What I did see as Pickering Red has pointed out was two players going toe to toe trading punches. Cox threw punches, albeit not very good ones. Green was / is being treated differently for landing the best one.

Exactly. Refs are often inept but I don't believe any are dishonest. When you play a better team things seem to go against you because they play at a higher tempo and you're often hanging on and trying to slow them down
