The league doesnt lie we are weak in key area's, the squad players beyond 17 are not good enough. The opposition love to play us because they run through our edge defenders week in week out.

The squad players in the 17 aren't much better either

Re: Bottom calling : Sat Jun 18, 2016 8:45 am
Despite currently sitting 9th, we now have Wire, FC, Hudds and Leeds to play. Now under normal circumstances if somebody told you, you had to play 2 teams currently sat below you, there would be an element of relief. These teams are however Leeds and hudds. Unless we beat either or both of them teams we will be bottom. Then of course we will have to play them both again, as well as salford in the middle 8's. Next is that we have already lost to Oldham this year.
The clubs decision not to take in any loan players following our injuries will either play out to be a masterstroke of youth development, or year 2 of the 5 five year play will involve the club having to get us out of the championship.

Now this isn't scare mongering or doom and gloom, this is the reality we now have unraveling before us, and if the club and players don't want to be playing in the championship next year, they had better pull their bloody fingers out!

And as for the clubs tweet basically blaming Lawler for the loss. That was just utter stupidity, and I hope whoever is in charge of the twitter feed got royally bollocked by Webster, Peacock and Hudge!

The Lawler tweet by the club was poor but then again Hudgell singled out Matty Beharrell in the 84-6 reverse against Wigan.

The reality is we will probably finish in the bottom two and million pound game but have too much quality in our squad against a championship side so will survive -just.The bigger problem will be recruitment. We are weak across the park. Sio apart how many of this squad would attract top 4 club interest? The decline in quality since 2009 has been slow and not noticeable but stand back and compare with this squad and it's criminal. Other clubs are already active so potential signings will look at their strengthening as how seriously they are planning 2017. Total shambles.

Re: Bottom calling : Sat Jun 18, 2016 12:33 pm
Rovers where picked by most pundits to finish bottom 2 so no surprise really injuries have compounded our problems, fully expect Giants and Leeds to pick up a few results on the run in Leeds have strike players returning and Hudds will probably pick up with a new coach which is usually the case, I honestly do not think any super league team is in danger though unless Leigh go on a massive recruitment drive for the middle 8s and your bad luck with injuries continue, tense times and a hindrance to recruitment for next season is the main issue I think

Unfortunately, whilst Campese et al are stealing wages there's precious little can be done, I can see a KR v Leigh MPG, and Leigh shading it.
