Besides Dobbo, they've now got Robert Lui back as well and he can be a real handful. Josh Jones also had a standout game for them last weekend against Cats in the back row, going up against Glenn Stewart, but their double barrelled second row signing from the NRL has dropped off a bit of late.

As you say, if we repeat the intensity, commitment and flair we showed against Cas (something that's been absent in our DNA for several seasons) then we should have more than enough to come away with the 2 points.

I believe we picked up a few injuries in Wood but Griffin is still touch and go.

If the RFL could prove I think there would be more teams found to be over the Cap you can't tell me that Salford are the only team. You only have to look at the squads and no way in the world are all of these teams spending within the limits.
If they are some of the younger players being playing for the minimum wage

The whole system is corrupt imo. Id say there is half a dozen teams taking the pi$$ out of the salary cap. Rovers obviously not amongst them.

The 6 points is basically a slap on the wrist, If the RFL had meant business they would have put in a sanction that might actually hurt them. All things being equal Salford would have been in and around 9th or 10th place so would have been playing in the middle 8's with us anyway. I may be wrong come the end of the normal season, and this may actually spur them on to stick two fingers up at the RFL and make the super 8's, either way it really won't make any difference come next season.
