Didn't expect anything but a walloping tonight. Real dig from the team and still only 2 props.. Lunt and Garbutt class .Linnett showing bit more quality but whole team grafted for each other. Away to the unbeaten 1st ranked side with so many out was a real boost for fans and the club. Ok no points gained but a step in right direction hopefully

I feared the worst after the opening 15 but to comeback like we did is pleasing just felt the lack of props would tell in the end but the performance was encouraging and at least we won’t have to put up with A Alder for the coming week

Just clocked the rout. These things happen.. Was looking at next couple fixtures obviously Leeds next then I presume a cup round? Might give us a bit of time to get troops back for Easter?

Haven’t we got Warrington on Easter Monday not a great game to have 2 days after a derby I still have nightmares about that Wigan game on Easter Monday

Hopefully we’ll start getting some confidence and some more props back now.

We do need to start picking up some wins soon though, or it will become a relegation scrap very quickly. As horrible as the 8s were for us, you could at least write off spells like this as not that relevant to our final fate - this all counts and we’re a nearly a third of the way into the season.

I didn’t remotely expect a win tonight, and it sounds better than it could have been. However, there’s a danger in seeing not being hammered and no new injuries as a positive outcome. We’re not saving ourselves for a final push this year - this is it.
