Who said sinfield was coaching the team? he was the leader of the group and obviously one of the key differences for anyone with any knowledge whatsoever of the game. No coincidence that sinfield was club captain through the most successful period in leeds' history and one which saw 3 different coaches in charge when they won grand finals. I guess all 3 could be brilliant coaches or maybe sinfield was a major part of it. Either way, they were pretty useless pre sinfield and aren't looking too clever post sinfield. if you want to believe that mcdermott is a coaching guru then bully for you
