Lets face it you have to start somewhere, I bet if he was any good he would be on a good wage in a proper job? the way the press are regarded nowadays is on a par with Jimmy Savile & Stuart Hall.

The press motto is - "Escribe sum ergo fabricadus armo et laude bullcrapiums".

As I failed Latin O level (yes, I'm as old as that), roughly translated means - "Don't let facts and the truth get in the way of any old bolloc*s" As an example, please see above.

I saw the full match video of this season's pre-season derby friendly courtesy of your TV channel. Commentary shared between Doyle-Davidson and Chadwick with Lee Crooks as expert summariser. It was funny because Chadders took over when the Black and Whites were ferty ten to the good, then ferty six ten and on to further embarrassment.

Chadders was bang on accurate with his commentary but Doyle-Davidson sounded more doddery, rambling and gaffe prone than Bruce Forsyth in his last series of Strictly, mainly down to his crap but ever so pretentious posh pronunciation. Doyle-Davidson can't do Italian surnames, Samoan surnames, so I hope you never sign a Serbian. :)

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Doyle-Davidson was an utter embarrassment back in the eighties when I was a kid, I remember coming back from some middle class museum or some such that my parents forced me to go to on a Sunday in an effort to prevent me from becoming the idiotic character that I now am and listening to his commentary.

It went like this;

"Oh, the ball is on the ground".

"" Norton plays the ball, passes to Tindall, good tackle from Fox".

"" Fox advances ".

" I was watching a squirrel yesterday".

"The pitch is heavy".

" Rovers (dramatically over arched RP accent) have the ball"

"Crooks has it".

" The crowd rise unanticipated belligerence ".

" Hull are camped on the line".

"A heron ate my goldfish, and I think my ghost Koi carp".

" Rovers score, Ema, under the posts, Garry Clarke won't miss this".
