The only thing I could fault him for is his inability to defend high bombs. The kid is pretty small in height but come on ffs he's only 19. Why do you have to turn everything negative to do with Hull FC? The kid is easily one of the best talents in the league but because he's at Hull he's out of his depth.

Out of his depth, at times in defence, yes.
Poor under the high ball and poor positioning at times, play him in his favoured position and you can eliminate some of these problems. It must be a negative to him to not be playing his natural game and having to fill in, in an unfamiliar role in the team.
Is he another one of these 'best talents in the league' players according to most FC fans? Are you not fed up of hyping up your young players only for the majority of them fail to progress as you would hope. Hall and Lee have both not kicked on and Houghton is struggling this season after the amount of hype you guys placed on him from last season. Give them a break!
If Welham cant defend then your obviously watching a different game to me!
