wish i'd known bout the radio cumbria, from what I gathered from the updates, fast start but slowly got to grips with them until they got a few late scores, still a very good effort nonetheless and for us to push Barrow, the reigning championship winners like this holds good signs for the future, hopefully we can turn over doncaster and gateshead to make our nrc finish respectable.

From the commentary they were pretty impressed with our performance sounded like we put them under a fair bit of pressure. Held u pover the line a couple of times and forced kicks frum under the sticks. I know Munroe got the one try can't quite remember recall who they said got the other.
I think that is pretty respectable as there is every chance Barrow will be right up there with Halifax and Widnes.
Shame I can't go next week as in Sheffield.

I will certainly be going to the gateshead game, and it was listed as munroe for both scores on sky sports, looking good at least for the season.

Some good signs from your team today. Munroe had an excellent match as did a few others. I'm sure you'll make the playoffs and maybe top 3.

Barrow missed Rooney's kicking and organising today and Coyle went off in the first half which left us with few tactical kicking options.

Rooney, McDermott, Ballard and Ostler were missing with Coyle and Roberts making their first appearances after minor operations. We just had too much for you in the forwards in the end which is no disgrace (a lot in the Championship will struggle against our forwards this season - hopefully !!).

I agree I was very impressed with Blackpool today, they played some great attacking rugby and in the end the score flattered Barrow, good luck for the new league season, I think you could be the dark horses for promotion. Crompton's certainly doing a fantastic job with your team.

Another good effort but we will have to cut out the penalties in future games.

We should have beat Keighley the other week after leading 16 2 but they seem to be our bogey team.
Also Barrow are last years champions from a division above so all in all we performed ok despite the scoreline.
Although we have lost the last three games we can take positives out of them.
Lets hope we can put one over Gateshead on sunday, then beat Donny away before the league starts which will give the lads some confidence
